We assist veterans with certification of benefits and establishing academic and career goals.

The Veterans Student Group (VSG) is an on-campus student organization for College of Alameda students who are veterans of the U.S. Armed forces, dependents of veterans, or members of uniformed service. The VSG is part of the Inter Club Council (ICC).
Our mission is to
- facilitate transitions into civilian life post-military
- enhance educational opportunities for veterans
- provide a mechanism for camaraderie among veteran Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, Officers, Enlisted, other First Responders and Uniformed Services
- foster “deckplate” level leadership among the student body at College of Alameda and within the local community.
Membership is open to all College of Alameda students who are veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. Auxiliary membership available to students who are dependents of veterans or members of uniformed service.
