Taylor Elliott

Taylor “Coach T” Elliott became the Cougars women’s volleyball assistant coach in 2017. An alumna of College of Alameda (COA), Elliott played under head coach Linda Thompson in 2013 and 2014.

She played high school volleyball for Bishop O’Dowd and in her senior year, was named to the second team all-conference volleyball team. As a full time student-athlete at the College of Alameda, Elliott helped lead the Cougars to its first second place finished in the Bay Valley Conference and clinched a spot in the NorCal Junior College “Sweet Sixteen” playoffs. In her second year Elliot was named Bay Valley All Conference-First Team. She was recruited to play at San Jose State University as a middle blocker. For her senior year, Elliott transferred to Cal State East Bay where she received a full athletic scholarship and helped lead her team to earn a spot in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, Division II playoffs.

Elliott has 7 years coaching experience including head coach for Encinal High School’s JV volleyball, the assistant volleyball coach of the Encinal high school varsity team, and club volleyball.

Elliott is currently completing her master’s degree in Sports Psychology at California Southern University.
