Seth Jones

Seth Jones begins his first season at the College of Alameda. He has a passion for the game of Basketball. Jones attended Saint Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California where he played on the varsity men’s basketball team for three years. At St. Joseph’s, Jones played one year under legendary Coach Frank Laporte and two years under Coach Gordon Johnson who continued his progress of becoming a young man. After graduating from Saint Joseph’s, Jones received a basketball scholarship to play at Holy Names University and played under Coach Steve Whitworth for one year. He then transferred to Ohlone Junior College and played one season under Coach John Peterson and the following year, he transferred to Temple University and played one year under Coach John Chaney.

Since 2007, Coach Jones has coached youth boys basketball at all levels. He continues to develop young basketball players and is looking forward to taking his coaching skills to the collegiate level.
