College of Alameda employs Safety Aides that assist in the safety of the campus. All Safety Aides go through a background check and fingerprinting and must also pass a 40-hour training. The mission of the District-wide Safety Aide Training is to insure that all Safety Aides throughout the Peralta District are equipped with the necessary skills and training needed to service their campus in a professional manner.
