EOPS Priority Registration

As an EOPS/CARE/CalWORKS student, you have priority registration, which means you can sign up for classes before the rest of the campus can. You will be able to register for your first choice of courses, schedules and teachers without worrying about classes already being full.

Priority registration signals when an EOPS/CARE/CalWORKs student may BEGIN to enroll. You may continue to register for classes after this date.

To make sure you have been cleared to enroll early, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to Passport and go to the Student Center.
  2. Look on the right hand side of the page. You should see a box that says Enrollment Appointment.
  3. Check the date. If it says the dates listed for priority registration, you are all set! If it says a date other than those dates, let the EOPS and CalWORKs office know immediately.
  4. NOTE:  Students on academic probation for two semesters in a row will lose access to priority registration, and will only regain it after improving their academic record.

The schedule of classes is usually available online approximately two weeks before priority registration starts. the printed schedule is out. Sign in to Passport, go to the Student Center, and on the right hand side of the page click on the button that says “Search for Classes.”
