Institutional Set Standards

In compliance with US Dept. of Education sub section 602.16(a)(1)(i) on Institution Set Student Achievement Measures,  College of Alameda has established multiple institutional student achievement benchmarks known as Institutional Set Standards. These standards include but are not limited to: course completion rates, persistence rates, program/certificate data, graduation rates, transfer rates and job placement rates for Career Education Programs.

All standards are in alignment with our college mission to serve the educational needs of its diverse community by providing comprehensive and flexible programs and resources that empower students to achieve their goals. Standards are evaluated annually by the Institutional Effectiveness Committee, reviewed by shared governance and approved by the College Council.
