Student Clubs

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is an organization that recognizes the achievements of and rewards scholars at California Junior Colleges for their achievements. PTK opens doors to so many resources for the high achieving college student.

An ambassador in our case is a leader who represents College of Alameda, who is available, approachable, and willing to help and direct others with any questions. An ambassador represents well and is proud of what he or she represents.

The New D.R.E.A.M. literally saved my life. After 20 years of Incarceration, I had no clue what I was going to do. New D.R.E.A.M. accepted me as I was and helped me enroll in the College of Alameda (CoA). Now I have graduated from the ATLAS program with a certificate which helped assist me with getting employment. I amconcurrently enrolled in CoA and UC Berkeley to obtain my B.A. for more stable employment. New D.R.E.A.M. has helped coach me to secure my own place in the world. Now I’m in pursuit of starting my own business. New D.R.E.A.M. is the way to go.

We assist veterans with certification of benefits and establishing academic and career goals.
